Message from the President

Greetings & Salutations!

My first visit to the Branson area was back in 1972, spending summers at my grandparents' house across the lake at Twin Island Estates. Upon graduating high school in Olathe, KS, I chose to attend the College of the Ozarks, located in nearby Point Lookout, MO, to be near my grandmother and to follow in my grandfather's footsteps. Had it not been for the passion that led me back to southern Missouri to attend college, I would have never met my wife, the love of my life and the mother of our three children. Throughout the years, I have been financially responsible with the money I have earned through efficient spending, investing in my childrens' education, and saving for a comfortable retirement. When we began searching for our home away from home, the choice was clear: a beautiful lakefront condo on Table Rock Lake.

In an effort to protect our investment, my goal is to increase property values and provide great amenities in a safe and secure environment. During my tenure as the presiding board member, we have completed countless structural repairs, established an official Reserve Fund, developed a comprehensive and fully funded Reserve Study Plan with Reserve Study Components, developed a Budget Planning Policy, an Operating Expense & Reserve Fund Account Management Policy, an Internal Controls Policy, an Investment Policy, a Contractor Policy, distributed a monthly newsletter, established a balanced budget, enacted numerous liability protection policies including a Snow & Ice Removal Policy and an Emergency Response Plan, transferred outstanding deeds to the Association, began providing financial data to our residents, began investing in U.S. Treasuries, created a website, and renegotiated all utility and contractor agreements. I am honored to build upon the work of my predecessors by making sound financial decisions while ensuring that the governing documents are adhered to and that all concerns receive fair consideration.
